Selling if you became an occupier of the home before 26 May 2013 (England) or 1 October 2014 (Wales) - Show Contents Hide Contents
If you bought your park home before 26 May 2013 in England or 1 October 2014 in Wales, you and the buyer need to send the site owner a notice of proposed sale form.
The site owner has limited rights to challenge the sale, including on the basis of the age of the buyer or if they would break site rules, such as rules about vehicles or keeping animals.
This notice of proposed sale form will contain your details, the sale price and confirmation that the buyer will comply with any site rules.

If the site owner objects to the sale, they must apply to the tribunal for a refusal order and tell you in writing that they have done so. They must do both within 21 days of the date you gave your notice of proposed sale. If you do not receive written notice within 21 days, the application is not valid.
If the site owner tells you they have applied for a refusal order, you must put the sale on hold until the tribunal decides the application.
