What action should residents take if emergency or urgent repairs are required on a site?

A site owner’s repair obligations will not change during this period. We understand that the maintenance of sites may be more difficult at this time. However, that is no reason to allow dangerous conditions to persist.

Site owners should engage constructively with residents in the event of any serious issues relating to the condition of the site. In these unprecedented times we encourage site owners and residents to take a pragmatic, common-sense approach to non-urgent issues which are affected by COVID-19 related restrictions.

LEASE is governed by a board, appointed as individuals by the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.

WARNING ADVICE TO RESIDENTS

You DO NOT NEED to sign a new pitch agreement if your site owner changes. Your existing terms and conditions will stay the same if the site is sold.

If you are asked to sign a new agreement get advice from LEASE or a solicitor before doing so.
