To whom it may concern,
I am writing on behalf of [name of residents’ association].
We ask you to acknowledge, in writing, that the association is a qualifying residents’ association for [name of park home site].
The association meets the following eligibility criteria under the Mobile Homes Act 2013 (Wales):
- at least 50% of the eligible park homes on the site are represented in the association
- the association is independent from the site owner
- it has a fair and democratic constitution
- it has elected officers
I have attached our current up-to-date membership list as required by the Mobile Homes (Wales) Act 2013 information sheet on qualifying residents’ associations.
I have also [attached / or can make available if required]:
- evidence that we meet the 50% threshold
- names of the elected officers
- our constitution
Please send your written acknowledgement to me as [Secretary, Chair, Treasurer] of the association and notify the site owner.
